Gramma Kath's Pineapple Rice

cup rice
one medium size can of crushed pineapple
half pint of whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
cup sugar

Cook rice and cool. Then mix rice into it undrained crushed pineapple and
chill. Whip cream and add sugar. Then fold sweetened, whipped cream into rice/pineapple mixture.

Zucchini Brownies (Gwen Gladfelter)
9x13 inch pan, greased
2 cups grated zucchini, undrained, avoid large, hard seeds
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts and/or chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients in order given. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350, 30-35 minutes.

12 ounces flour
8 ounces butter
4 ounces caster (superfine or confectioners) sugar

Mix until smooth. Roll into roll and cut 1/3 inch slice and bake until dry but not browned in a moderate oven. You could mince dried fruit or grind nuts, chop sweet chocolate very fine and mix into this dough. It wouldn't hold together well, I think, if the additions were in large lumps.
