Chocolate Crinkles
These chocolate cookies are fun to make, especially with young children, and melt in your mouth.

Ingredients:
1 cup cocoa powerder
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup confectioer's sugar

Directions:
1. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together cocoa powder, sugar and oil.
Beat in the eggs.
Add the vanilla.
Add the flour mixture.
Mix thoroughly by hand with a wooden spoon.
When thoroughly mixed, cover and chill for at least four hours.

2. Heat oven to 350° F.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper (or grease the sheets).
Put confestioner's sugar into a small bowl.
Remove dough from refrigerator and use a teaspoon to remove some dough and roll it into 3/4 in. balls.
Roll each ball thoroughly in confestioner's sugar. (This is the part small children really enjoy doing.)
Place balls on cookie sheet. Space them at least 2 in apart or more.

Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes.
Let cookies stand on sheet for a minute before moving them to a cooling rack.
