| Gramma Kath's German Rice Pudding 
 Cook ½ cup rice in 1 cup boiling water (covered) until water is absorbed. 
 Turn rice into 3 cups hot milk in double boiler and cook until tender. 
 Stir in ½ tbsp butter ½ cup sugar 1 egg 
 Cook until think. 
 Pout into serving dish and sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. 
 Dot with bits of butter. 
 Stand in warm place. 
 Serve room temperature with whipped cream. |
