Mississippi Mud Pie
Pastry for 9-inch pie (unbaked)
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan, stirring often. Beat eggs until light and frothy. Stir in syrup, sugar, vanilla, and chocolate mixture. Pour into pastry in pie pan. Bake 40-45 min at 350o or until top is slightly crunchy and filling is set. Do not overcook. Filling should remain soft inside.
