Scones

Make biscuits but add about 2 Tablespoons of sugar to a single batch, then use an egg as part of the total liquid the recipe calls for (say, if it's half a cup, break and egg in the measuring cup and fill it to the half cup mark with milk.) Add the currants or dried cranberries or what ever to the dry ingredients before you stir in the egg and milk, and either pat it into a circle and cut into wedges to bake or roll it out and cut it in rounds with a biscuit cutter to bake or cook in a frying pan on low heat.
