CALL FOR PAPERS

 

Papers and Workshops are invited from teachers at all levels, from Elementary School through College and University. Papers are normally 20 minutes in length, workshops 60-90 minutes. Consideration will be given to longer proposals, especially panels of papers or workshops focusing on one topic.

 

THEMES: Topics from all areas of interest are invited. Topics of special interest are listed below. Please refer to the ACL web page for a narrative describing the themes.

 

* New Directions in Latin Pedagogy for the 21st-Century

 

* Oral Latin, from basic pronunciation to advanced conversation

 

* Teaching Latin in a Multi-Cultural World

 

* The Interdisciplinary Latin Classroom: Teaching Art, Literature, Music and                            Science in the Latin Classroom

 

* Expanding the Latin Curriculum

 

* The Latin Teacher as Classroom Manager and Latin Promotor

 

 

DEADLINE: Submissions must be postmarked or submitted online by December 12, 2004.
