Professor De Young will be serving as the Dramaturg for the Monmouth College production of the Trojan Women to be performed in the Wells Theatre on March 17-20, 2005.  His lecture will review ancient production methods and historical criticism in the light of current archaeological evidence and commentary.  He will  then discuss the way these insights can be used to inform the staging of the play in the 21st century.
