This post card was postmarked "Ottawa, July 18, 1906". The recipient was a Mr. C. Arch Owen, Waterman, Ill.. The text reads as follows:

"July 18 Will probably hit Waterman tomorrow evening from the west unless I get arrested. I am still faint from reading your letter, but will be able to ride. I can stay a day or two whether I get a job or not. Yours truly, Thomas H. Hamilton"
